When I heard about the passing of the Avenue Pub's very own owner, my heart was torn even though I never knew the guy. But I am glad to see the Avenue Pub is still up and running even after his sudden death. The Avenue Pub lives on to his legacy! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
Friendly Bar Nice People
I have visited this place like 5 times or so, Enjoyed everytime, Great staff and patrons, Good food too, nothing fancy but very good. Prices are reasonable. Covered smoking area with heaters outside in back.
Neighborhood bar, no more no less
I agree with everything MammyGraham says, but that's why I LOVE this bar. If you're looking to pick up a pretty young thing, go online. If you're looking for a divey bar with cheap drinks and a friendly, alcoholic crowd who won't give a shit if you're wearing denim on demin--then this is your place. (Don't come here for the food, though. Seriously.)
Low key friendly neighborhood bar
Perfect spot for no pressure winding down. Friendly staff and patrons. Go alone or with a partner. No hassle either way. Lot to be said for that. Good food, good drinks, good vibe.

Had low expectations and was still disappointed.
Boring dive bar with a hideous crowd. The only redeemer is that the drinks were cheap. If you're a homely local or an alcoholic, this place is probably your cup of tea.
