Tilt (Closed Permanently)

Bustling crowd at this 18+ dance hall
This place has drag shows, house music, a dance floor and a great enclosed smoking patio for a good night of letting loose.

Best Night Club In ROC. PERIOD

This is one of the only clubs where all types of people come to have a good time and dance. Great energy and a great sound system. I've been only a few times but it's definitely the best place to go for atmosphere, people watching, and great music. Highly recommended.

tilt does have great music and some really good drag shows, but if you are over 30 yrs old, Tilt is going to make you feel ancient!

Small town club, big city attitude

1. If you're a club person, you're in the wrong city. 2. If you're not a club person, then don't waste your time going to Tilt. The place is overrun with 18-21 year olds (again, fine if that's what you're looking for, but don't expect much). The music is terribly outdated. Worst, the bartenders are arrogant and slow--this would be annoying enough in a place like New York City, but it's ridiculous in Rochester.

Over Rated and Out of Touch

First off, went to the club's site (myspace), lots of hype and fan bull, no gen. info on the place. To cheap to put up their own web site. Decided not to go.

Good crowd, great atmosphere

I say this club is a winning dance club, at least on Saturday nights. They allow an 18-21 age group to attend, so you may feel it is outrun with young people, but their energy is good and not too snotty (most people i saw were trashed and willing to dance with anyone). I went at midnight and it was fairly crowded. Drinks are reasonable and there is a bar away from the louder dance floor. Sound levels were reasonable enough near the dance floor that you could still hear the bartender speak. Dance floor had a good vibe...i danced all night with many girls and guys alike, young and some older. Give it a shot...it isnt in the most desirable area, take a cab there for this one.
